of the year 2003

How happy I am to have had the privilege of sharing  your friendship for yet another year!  The time passes quickly when you are having fun.  How true that is!  I feel such a friendship toward all of you,  it occurred to me that we may be close in heart but that is not so in miles.   Most of us do not even use our real names, add that to hotmail and you must know that we could be talking to our own next door neighbours and not even realize it!  I want to thank all of you  who sent me your names,  addresses and phone numbers.  It gives me a measure of peace to know that I have a way to contact you if you disappear for too long a time.

While I was thinking those thoughts it occurred to me that this mailing list I love so much,  would be just another list with no one else to take the reins when I no longer can.   "There will always be beginners",  became a frightening thought for me.  I  want the next party who takes over to be as in love with the list and all it stands for as I have been.  So I have prepared a folder which I've put on a disc and have already explained to my son where to find it and what to do.  If anything ever happens to me he will be contacting one of you and sending you the information within.  In that folder will be the information I would like to pass on to the next list owner with the request that they prepare a folder for the next and so on.  With that I can promise you, there will not only always be beginners, but now there will always be a "VioletReflections" mailing list.
A Very Merry Christmas and a
Happy, Happy New Year to All.

This little girl's name is  Wagontale's  Wee Girl
She has Denis and myself twined right around her fingers?? and she knows it.

Lol, Wee Girl says "thank you" for the comment about her looks. I had to laugh earlier this evening.  She was on the floor and she began to whine. So I picked her up and put her on the desk. She sat there and looked at me so I went back to what I was doing. She let out another sigh and I noticed her little paws waving in the air "pat a kake" Actually putting her paws together. So I put her back on the floor and went back to the computer. She started to whine again! By this time I was a little upset with her. I turned the chair to look at her. She was sitting beside the food and water tray and she whined again. I looked and noticed Cocoa was guarding the food dish. I took a handful out of the dish and she ran into one of the plush beds so I put the food in there. She ate it all and is now sleeping like a baby on the computer desk beside the tower. She has a bed made of polar fleece. She was the only baby when she was growing up so was playing with "older" dogs and if she bothered them too much they would take the toy and lay on it. Well you wouldn't believe how many times she whined until either Denis or I would retrieve it for her. Lol it was Denis who told me what she was whining for. Rather than listen to the whine, we would get up and get it for her. I wonder why she is spoiled?
