DIGEST MAIL

Please clean up your mail before sending it to the list. 
There are different ways to answer digest mail,  those of you who are getting their mail in digest form should adopt one of the ways listed below.
1. Thank you  Charles & Erma Calhoun  for sending this one in.  I think it is the easiest and most practical one yet.
I use Outlook Express.
Highlight the message or part of it that  I want to reply to.  With right mouse button hit copy.
Minimize the digest.
Go to reply, and after selecting VR as To: and putting in the subject line, scroll down and paste the digest message in mine.
Then begin typing my message and send it off.

Some email programs allow you to highlight a couple of lines of an email before you hit the reply, and all that will appear in the reply are the couple of lines you highlighted. That saves an awful lot of scrolling at either end.

#3 When you receive your digest and you want to answer a few messages.

#1...click on reply

#2...highlight the text you don't want on top of the message you want to post to

#3...delete

#4...highlight the text you don't want below your message

#5...delete.

Now you should have just the one message you want to reply to. Write your reply
and send it off.

Don't worry about losing your digest it will still be there. If you want to
answer another message in the same digest bring it back up and repeat the above.

 This is a drastic one but it cleans up the digest.

 if you are on OUTLOOK EXPRESS

go to tools click on options
Click on send
then un-check
"include message in reply"
