Growing African violets is rewarding for the soul.
They teach patience. They re-enforce hope for the future! They have a great ability to overcome decapitation,
They can propagate from just a piece of leaf and are capable of sporting to a whole new set of genes.
So when you are upset tear an african violet apart! This can be a calming therapy for you
and just the fact that these "sports" can happen it again gives you new hope for a "different plant"
perhaps even a "chimera". They bloom freely and make wonderful gifts,
for man, woman or child and then of course there is always
the appreciation for their great beauty. The only thing an African Violet doesn't have is
a perfume!
